Brothers,

            I bring you greetings from the State of Florida and the Gamma Delta Sigma Alumni chapter in Orlando!  I am the conference chairman for the “Celebration of History II”…a Fraternity History Conference that is being held Friday, October 9th and Saturday, October 10th 2009 in Orlando, Florida.  The Gamma Delta Sigma and Iota Rho Chapters will be the host chapters for this historic event
            This conference is a casual event where we will present, showcase, discuss, and cherish our illustrious Fraternity History that has filled our communities for the last 95 years.  We are inviting all Brothers to this wonderful event…young and old!
            It is also the 10th Anniversary of the Sigma Museum…an exhibit that first made its appearance at the 1st “Celebration of History” in the year 2000.  The full Museum will be on display once again for all those to see!  We are also securing several SPECIAL historic guests for this event.  You will not want to miss meeting and talking with these amazing trailblazing Brothers.
            The conference will be taking place at the Student Union Center (Pegasus Ballroom) on the campus of the University of Central Florida in Orlando.  We have secured a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn…less than 2 miles from the UCF campus.  Please contact the Host Hotel at (407)-992-5000 for reservations, and tell them you are attending the “Phi Beta Sigma History Conference” in order to secure the $79.00/night rate.  Friday night will consist of a Brotherhood Social, and Saturday morning is when the official day-long History Workshop will begin!
